When you train with a personal trainer who is a Functional Movement Specialist you will receive a custom fitness plan that will help you strengthen your body and improve your performance. Kathy is one of the only personal trainers in Savannah qualified to perform a Functional Movement Screen. She will identify any movement patterns that could be causing you performance issues, or pain and discomfort, and provide you with corrective exercises that will enable you to move better during exercise and in your daily life.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Leisure Studies from St. Lawrence University. Kathy is a former Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Princeton University, Central Connecticut State University, and St. Lawrence University.

Kathy has studied methodologies and techniques for the past 20 years from some of the best Sports and Conditioning Specialists in the United States, including learning techniques from Dr. Juan Carlos Santana (Institute of Human Performance, Boca Raton, FL), and Diane Vives, Owner of Fit4Austin. Kathy completed a mentorship program with Athletes Performance in 2007. She has trained clients preparing for the United States Tennis Association sanctioned events and traveled to South Africa and Boca Raton for individualized personal training services.
